Dating Web Site Lands Top Marketing Award

Englewood, CO (Vocus) November 16, 2009 -- Cupid.com (http://www.cupid.com/), North America’s premier dating Network, is making sure love is in the air.

The dating Web site was recognized for its ongoing radio commercial that’s airing on 1,200 stations across more than 300 markets in the United States and Canada. The Association of Marketing and Communications Professionals (AMCP) awarded the radio spot a 2009 MarCom Award, recognizing the ad’s message about Cupid’s convenience, popularity and matchmaking.

The spot details why subscribers visit a site that attracts 300,000 unique visitors and 20 million page views every month.

“Cupid.com is proud to be recognized for why we’re here: our online members,” said Bill “BC” Cloutier, executive vice president of onTargetjobs (http://www.ontargetjobs.com/), the parent company of Cupid.com. “This radio commercial is helping even more people find love through a community that already attracts thousands of new subscribers every month.”

Cupid.com’s radio ad was chosen from a collection of more than 5,000 award entrants and produced in collaboration with Massachusetts-based Creative Success. The AMCP’s MarCom Awards (http://www.marcomawards.com/awards.php) recognize “… the creative talent, firms, departments and/or clients that collaborate on outstanding marketing and communication projects,” the association states.
